Compilation of information material on the political and economic context, territory, natural resources and culture of the YURAKARE

This project aims to collect and arrange the most up to date information on the indigenous population of the Yuracaré in form of visual and written material, in order to present it to a national and international audience. This material also has great importance for the indigenous organizations as reference material for measures taken within their territory. So far, bibliographical material has been compiled and a few small investigations have been undertaken, as a basis for the realization of this project. It is envisaged that, with the help of volunteers and through various activities, this information will be extended by information on for the indigenous population important political, economic, territorial, cultural and ecological themes. The technical information and knowledge that professional volunteers can provide will contribute to this information and the extension and enrichment of knowledge about the Yuracaré. (publications)
